Following a frequent English self-introduction is a brief English conversation with you . In this period , they would know whether you are their target and whether you have the money to take the courses followed. They would say they just want to invite you to read English with them for a week with a little fee for the printed book, usually 10 or 30 yuan.
Who may be the targets?
Students with enormous interest in learning English? Not at all! Those with weak English basic structures , with obvious accents, and with poor performances in written English or exam-oriented English are more prone to this kind of pyramid scheme. Most of them choose it bacause they want to have a refreshing appearance to stand before those who have laughed at their poor English, and some of they have enough of plain campus life and want to have a change. The most important reason is that many of them are admitted into cold majors.
After a week, endless praises and encouraging mottos will make more and more stay there for further learning. Misery approaching now!
They will devote more and more money for higher and higher rates, meanwhile, they would encourage more and more students to join them.
They are always emphasizing the importance of spoken English and their sole attention on spoken English. It is the 50 vowels and daily conversations that give them endless confidence. But how should foreigners only talk eith you about “Good morning”,”Nice to meet you”? We can imagine that what would happen if foreigners want to talk about something meaningful or ……how to make eight-jewel porridge?
Maybe we can now lay blame to college English teachers .
Different levels of students are not taken into consideration of College English teachers ?
What College English teachers teach are away from daily life?
Maybe! I don’t know, but for them, that may be the main reason so they prefer students who cannot speak frequent Chinese to college English teachers!

长沙有一个星辰英语，感觉和前面几个回答的内容一模一样，洗脑已经快洗疯了，助教讲得一把鼻涕一把泪的，我们组一共五个人，有三个人要参加，还有一个在考虑。而且就算贷款也要交全款。必须先交2000定金，剩下的三天之内补齐，他们（创始人）说和一家借贷公司合作，贷款6000，两年还清，每个月还321元，就是说总共要还7704元，我一开始以为是高利贷，但似乎不是，不过我还是觉得利息很高。美其名曰“要让学生摆脱哑巴英语”，搞得好像拯救全中国似的，恶心-_-||，不就是利用大学生阅历不丰富，渴望成功的心理吗？傻X

关于这个问题 首先我们说一下
什么是传销
百度上的定义是这样
中国式传销 是虚假的公司，虚构的产品，什么都是空的，就只是让你拉人头，从入会费或者加盟费中提取少量提成。或者控制人身自由，没收财物，让你无法与外界联系，天天学习那些传销培训教材，让你学会怎么骗人，然后列名单、电话或书信邀约、摊牌、跟进、直至以各种方式交齐入会费或者加盟费。
现在的中国式传销是建立在精神控制的基础上，即让你通过他们的传销培训洗脑后自发的去
组织进行传销；另外一些会控制你的人身自由，没收所有物品，并且通过暴力使你认可这些
谎言。
一般传销的特征有这样几个：
1.入门费
是否需要认购商品或交纳费用取得加入资格或发展他人加入的资格，牟取非法利益；
2.拉人头
是否需要发展他人成为自己的下线，并对发展的人员以其直接或间接滚动发展的人员数量为
依据给付报酬，牟取非法利益；
3.计酬方式
是否以直接或间接发展人员的销售业绩为依据计算报酬，牟取非法利益。
如果符合以上特征，就有可能涉嫌传销。
亲爱的楼主，当你提这个问题的时候就要搞清楚什么是传销，再来提这个问题！你这个一个
问题伤害了很多教育培训机构，你要知道，很多学校的老师都会去培训机构兼职，毕竟工资
微薄嘛。从小到大，你能识这么多字，还能在这儿提问 题，是你的老师教会的。你这样的
提问前提，伤了多少老师的心？学校也是教书育人，培训机构也是教书育人。你可以不需要
培训，但不要否认培训机构在提高学生课业成绩和综合素质上的努力。
培训机构，既然能够挂牌营业，以培训机构的名字存在，那都是经过一定手续的，没有政府
的手续，哪个敢随便开门做生意，招生营业的？
学生有需要提高，而正好培训机构有这个课程，这是机构和双方的互相选择！
我承认，目前中国的教育培训行业确实存在良莠不齐的现象，教育水平参差不齐，这也是中
国整个教育行业需要去努力改观的事情。但是 一些教育机构也确实学生的进步和提高做出
了一小点贡献。
所以，不要老把自己设想成一个受害者的位置，去看这个社会。当你带着红色眼镜看世界的
时候，世界也是红色。当你放下有色眼镜，真诚的去看待一切，会发现，社会也好，世界
也好，都还有很多的美好。
学习是理所当然，学习也要理直气壮，花钱买知识，花钱买本领都是理所当然的事情。你也
不要指望天上掉馅饼，免费就可以得到很多。任何的收获都是需要付出代价的。
学会温和看世界。

南京的，可能其他地方也有，牛人村英语……我们学校的老师要是发现有学生去了直接打电话给家长的……
教育的方式可以有很多种，中国的教育保守，灌输式，统一式。国外读博那会，才真正发现美国的教育开放与兼容。接受不一样的，中国的教育才能百花齐放。最可怕的是很多人都不知道什么是传销。一个人突然变得爱学习，有人就说进了传销。难道我们真的愿意看到身边的朋友都天天无所事事。
